The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club sponsored our 1St Annual Backyard BBQ Contest Saturday May 22, 2010.

Contestants competed in two categories –Ribs or Chicken or Both.

Results of this, our first, contest were:

1st place chicken: Lawney Francis Lawney’s Bar B Que
2nd place chicken: Chris Shepherd Jabba’s BBQ Hut
3rd place chicken: Dave Presler Up in Smoke

1st place ribs: Chris Shepherd Jabba’s BBQ Hut
2nd place : Lawney Francis Lawney’s Bar B Que
3rd place : Dave Presler Up in Smoke

Prizes were provided in part by Outdoor Living Center.

We’re all looking forward to next year’s contest to see who comes out on top.
